FTM ENCOUNTERS: CROSSCULTURAL CONVERSATIONS
I do queer spoken word performances - but it largely depends on the quality of the sound system wether I'll actualy say something...
Therefore I'm also know to be doing queer mime and queer magic testosterone tricks.
But I prefer a good sound system, since I am also a show host and (serious) presenter of the Transgender Day of Remembrance.
In the evening of September 6 2008 there was an encounter between researchers who study female masculinities and transgender individuals. With a discussion panel. Next to this there were performances by artists of local queer communities. One of them was me, doing a Queer Theory spoken word piece inspired by Laurie Anderson.
